Surprise...Surprise...Surprise!!!

Mr. Obama has announced that the White House will not be observing the National Day of Prayer. But then what do you expect from a devout Muslim in his faith. He is just again proving how hypocritical he is since he ran on the concept that he was supposed to be the modern day Abraham Lincoln. Wasn't it Abraham Lincoln who said, "A man stands tallest when on his knees". I am pretty sure he wasn't meaning that he was praying to allah. Oh, well. It just goes right along with the direction we are going as a country under his leadership. Say what you will about the previous administration, at least then we still acted as if we had some fear of God!

President Obama is not a Muslim. Please refrain from making this mistake again.

If that is what you believe, then I ask that you not call him "President" Obama, because he has yet to prove he is an American born citizen. Thus not making him eligible to be in the White House. I call him a Muslim because he himself said in an interview that he was muslim then corrected himself and said I mean "christian" faith. We all make mistakes, but I have never slipped and said I am thankful for my "Catholic" faith. It is hard for me to chalk that up as a slip up. If people would just read about him and his background, they would find out that I am pretty close to truthful on this matter!

Pastor Ellison, would you please pray that the Lord would give me strength in that I may not fall down again spiritually; because I've had sooooooo many ups and downs and I just want to walk with the Lord all the way. But living in a non-Christian home makes it extremely difficult because it makes me feel like no one is there to support me and the truth of the matter is that my mom isn't only a non-Christian but she is against me being a Christian since she is mad at God, because she feels that God is making her suffer being parylized from the waist down, which is a terrible thing, but it was God who saved her from dying of that same sickness that parylyzed her, and she says that she wishes he just would have killed her and she threatens to kill herself quite often. And my dad claims to be a Christian but I know for sure that he isn't because he makes absolutely no efforts as to improving himself. He has an enormous problem with anger management, he uses extremely harsh words towards both my mother and I, plus he gets abusive at times, also to both me and my mother. And it REALLY scares me; sometimes to the extent that I end up locking myself in another room crying out loud, but even the lock doesn't help my sake, because one time he broke the lock off my mom's door and came in after us; but she threatened to call the police, and he stormed out of the house and left before she could do anything about it. All of these things contributers to the reason why I end up crying every year I leave youth camp. But, on the other hand, despite all that is going on in my life and the storms I am going through, I am a Christian, I'm saved and santified, and I'm trying my best to serve the Lord and I really want to do what's right and somehow get my parents to come to church. And I hope that as I pray about these situations and pray for my parents to come to the feet of Jesus that you would too because after all the power of prayer does increase with numbers, and there is hope! Praise the Lord!
~Your friend?, Kristen, (K2) from youth camp
P.S. Would you please help me?! Don't worry, it will be GREATLY appreciated; and you can trust me on that!

People like you give American politics a bad name. Religion should NOT be a part of government. There is the right to choose your faith in our own Constitution. Muslim does not equal 'bad' as you make it out to be. Open your mind.

Like most people with such wacky views, you failed to post your name and signed in under "anonymous". Considering this nation was founded on God's Holy Word, not the Koran, I would say that religion had much to do with politics. Why would our forefathers spend so much time engraving scripture, God's name and putting His name on everything governmental if they didn't think it was a combined effort. It is people like you,who want are making this nation continue on a downward spiral because you do not wish to acknowledge God as part of government. You can see where people who wish to separate God and country are taking us...it is a proven fact we can't be the nation we ought to be without God's divine blessing and help. My mind is open, so stay off my back and let me have my God given American sanctioned opinion...it is my right. signed, Matt Ellison
