27-28

The offical number of miles I get per gallon in my new car. I am so happy. We were debating on getting a 4 cylider because of gas milage, but I am not a big fan of putt-putting. There are times I want to step on it and go, that's why I got the 6 cylider. But I was afraid that I had been a little stupid considering I spend much time on the road. But as long as I am getting 27-28 miles to the gallon around town, I'm happy.

"There are times I want to step on it and go"??? I'm wondering when the exception might be. The Ellison team has been a blessing and a success in your fields of calling, but I believe without a doubt you and sis could have made the names Andretti, Earnhardt, and Petty seem lightweight had you chosen to work behind the wheel.
I can hear it now,,"Rev. Matt Ellison strapped in the Gods Missionary Car...Matt placed second here last year, running close to Doug Rine in the Beavertown car". Amazingly in a friendly but unusual brother, sister competition, Laura Ellison waits for the green flag in her own oldsmobile. This will be her last season to race the Penn View car and we will miss seeing her practice almost day and night on her local track. Wait just a minute,,,what are we seeing? Another female driver is looking to edge out some of the established names...An older lady behind the wheel of a white buick...she seems determined and also comes to us from Penns Creek, Pa. This area has certainly produced some of the finest and most aggressive stars in this field...we don't have a name on this driver yet, but she is driving Penn View One and is sponsered by Middle East Fuel Promotions and the Midas Break company... Folks, hold on to your hat, this could be the best race we've seen since Marie Plank left the hilltop"

Congratulations on the great mileage around town!
